Rare poudrier Art Deco en argent laqué noir avec symboles et idéogrammes chinois. Corps en argent massif 800 recouvert de laque naturelle noire agrémenté sur une face d’un symbole chinois de longévité (Shou) probablement en or et et sur l’autre face de caractères en chinois archaïque dont l’un signifie bonheur (Fu). Laque en bon état de conservation avec un éclat sur une face latérale et une probable restauration côté idéogrammes(voir photos). Bouton poussoir en onyx avec un petit manque (voir photo). Intérieur en argent vermeillé composé d’un miroir biseauté et d’un compartiment à poudre. 8,6cm X 6,3 cm X 1cm. Fabriqué en FRANCE vers 1930. Deep black natural lacquer solid silver 800 compact case with on one side a chinese longévity symbol (shou) probably in gold, and on the other side archaic chinese signs, one of them meaning happiness (Fu). Lacquer in good condition, one chip on the side face (view the picture) and a possible restoration on the ideogram side(view the picture). Onyx push button with a small chip (view the picture). The inside in gilted silver includes a bevelled mirror and a compartment for beauty powder. French boar head hallmark for silver but no maker hallmark. Made in France circa 1930.
